About Me
I care about using my skills to solve interesting problems and help people learn. I enjoy telling untold stories, bringing to attention things that are often overlooked. I love the amazing privilege of bringing a smile to someone's face, because I created something beautiful for them.
I am a video editor and graphic designer based in Indianapolis. I studied Visual Communication Design at Western Oregon University, and earned a minor in Spanish. I am continually exploring the fields of video production, animation, graphic design, and photography. I hope to be a life-long learner. I delight in bringing different creative disciplines together, trying new things, and doing something different every day.
One of my greatest joys is creating helpful and enjoyable learning experiences through my work. In my current role, I often develop informative media from flyers to website banners, which support community college students in an aspect of their education journey. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn in a way that is rewarding and fun.
I believe in finding creative inspiration in all aspects of life, from the beauty of nature to the episode of a favorite TV show. I love to learn from experts who balance thoughtful, well-prepared content with humor and the relatable struggles of human life. I love to have my favorite podcasts in my ear as I work. The topics range from finances to biology to "how to exercise when it's freezing cold." :D
If you are a fellow creative who'd like to connect, or if you have any questions about my work, please feel free to contact me.
Best wishes, and thank you for exploring my portfolio.
